Israel has executed the death penalty twice in its history: against Holocaust architect Adolf Eichmann (1962) and “traitor” Meir Tobianski (1948), who turned out to be innocent a year later. Now, parliament is about to pass a law requiring judges to impose the harshest punishment on Palestinian terrorists.
