Last year, Shell paid more than fifty times as much tax than a year earlier in the United Kingdom (UK), new figures from the British Financial Authority (FCA) indicate. The oil and gas group paid more than 445 million dollars (410 million euros) in 2023, compared to 8 million dollars in 2022.
