The motion against the plan to release prisoners up to 14 days earlier has been rejected. In the roll-call vote, one opponent was overcounted, with 75 MPs against the motion and 74 in favour. That did not matter to the result. Because the votes were on strike last week, the BBB motion would also have been dismissed in the event of a tie.
