Mt. Juliet commissioners reject one-year ban on new high-density housing

Commissioner Scott Hefner put forward a one-year moratorium on high-density housing at Monday night's city commission meeting, saying the city should focus on building infrastructure first. However, the rest of the commission did not support the one-year ban, arguing the city would lose out on property and sales tax revenue to fund the city.
