On the occasion of the commemoration of the 82nd anniversary of the presentation of the Manifesto of Independence, King Mohamed VI of Morocco has granted pardon to a total of 1,386 persons convicted by different courts.This document, which was signed by numerous personalities of Moroccan nationalism in collaboration with the then Sultan Mohamed V, represents a symbol of the struggle for sovereignty and national unity.
