The Committee on Prosecution and Justice of the Congress of Mexico City approved the decision to criminalize punctures, which considers penalties of two to five years' imprisonment and 50 to 300 days' fine to anyone who, without the consent of a person, administers, introduces, supplies or applies any substance surreptitiously or through deception.
