Waynesboro to spend $164K of federal grant money on pedestrian safety

WAYNESBORO, VIRGINIA, JUL 16 – The $164,000 grant will fund design and engineering for safer pedestrian crossings and wheelchair accessibility in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, city officials said.

Waynesboro is developing an action plan to invest $164,000 of Community Development Block Grant funding in pedestrian safety in the city.
