The lithium mining and processing project at Cínovec in the Ore Mountains has changed from the original proposal. The processing plant will be located on the site of the former Prunéřov I power plant in the Chomutov region, not near Újezdeček near Teplice. However, this has not allayed the concerns of some residents of the region, who are afraid of dust or excessive noise from the trains that will transport the ore.
