Swim advisory lifted for section of Edisto Beach

EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) -  The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services has lifted a short-term swimming advisory along a section of Edisto Beach. The affected areas that are now safe to swim in include the access points at Edisto Street and Neptune Street in Colleton County. Officials said that bacteria levels have returned to normal. The advisory was in place for six days.
