Russia conducts firing drills around the Northern Territories, Japanese government protests

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said at a press conference on the 18th that Russia had issued a navigation warning to conduct firing exercises in the waters around the Northern Territories, including Japanese territorial waters. The exercises will take place from 4:00 pm on the 17th to 11:00 pm on the 22nd.
