In particular, due to the planned construction of nuclear power units in Dukovany and the development of small modular reactors, the Czech Republic will need more experts in nuclear energy, of which there is already a shortage. Technical colleges are trying to respond to the situation and, for example, offer new fields of study. They also allow high school students to try out in advance whether they would be interested in working in this sector.
