- With the Windies totalling 162 and 146, India’s bowlers, including Siraj with 4-40 and Jadeja, claimed seven second-innings wickets as West Indies folded for 46-5 and 45.1 overs.
- The victory leaves India firm favourites to seal a 2-0 series win, and Jadeja was named Player of the Match for his 11th Test award, moving level with Rahul Dravid.
- Jadeja’s numbers — 3990 runs and 334 wickets — frame his rising legacy in Tests, and he said, `It feels good to be contributing to the team and as far as my batting is concerned, I have worked on it mentally as well as skill-wise,` said Jadeja.
