Rapper Badshah in trouble again! Haryana Police files FIR for vulgar lyrics, scenes in latest track 'Tateeree'

On Friday, Haryana Police registered an FIR at the Cyber Crime Police Station in Sector 20, Panchkula against Badshah, citing sections 3 and 4 of the Indecent Representation of Women Act, 1986, and BNS Section 296.
Badshah's recently released video went viral after appearing on his official YouTube channel, prompting local residents to complain about girls in school uniforms dancing inside a Haryana Roadways bus and in a ‘Badshala’ setting.
Authorities confirmed on March 7, 2026 that an FIR is registered and police teams conducting raids while steps to issue a Lookout Circular are underway.
The Haryana State Commission for Women has summoned Badshah for March 13, Renu Bhatia said, while Mahipal Dhanda, Haryana Education Minister, ordered inquiries into the bus depot and investigators are reviewing filming permissions for a government school and Haryana Roadways bus from the Jind depot.
The complainant argued the words and visuals are highly offensive and send a wrong message to society, while police warned strict action against those circulating the clip and officials raised cultural concerns about schoolgirls as depicted in the video.
