- Detectives determined that Caceres communicated with the victim via phone and arranged to meet her at several public places as well as at his home, where multiple assaults took place.
- Caceres faced five felony counts of third-degree rape, was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11, and failed to post $100,000 cash bail before being held at Howard Young Correctional Institution.
