Layla Sewell, a grade six student from Pine Glen Public School, has been chosen as the recipient of a scholarship award from Hope Arises Project Inc.  On June 20, 2025, at Muskoka Heritage Place in Huntsville, Layla and 249 students were participants in an interactive educational Indigenous Day activity.
