An Ontario resident has been charged with fraud after money from Skip the Dishes for a Sherwood Park business was diverted into another bank account through online hacking.

Strathcona County RCMP had received a complaint where money from Skip the Dishes for a local business were being sent to another account through online hacking. An arrest warrant was obtained by the General Investigation Unit (GIS) of Strathcona County’s RCMP detachment. 49-year-old Ontario resident Zahis Shah was arrested when they turned themself into police.
