The restaurant empire run by Sergio Herman (52) is once again a bit starry. When the new Michelin Report was announced in the Netherlands, it was announced that 'Pure C' in Cadzand will suddenly go from 2 to 0 stars. Michelin Chief Inspector Werner Loens explains the sudden loss of stars and suddenly warns all other star issues: “From now on, every new chef must prove himself.”

Seventeen restaurants in the Netherlands received a Michelin Star on Monday. One store, Vinkeles in Amsterdam, already had one and was awarded two stars this year. Restaurants De Librije in Zwolle and Inter Scaldes in Kruiningen, Zeeland, remain the only ones with three Michelin stars.
