DJI's Osmo Action 6 offers improved low-light and dynamic range with a 1/1.1-inch sensor, variable aperture, and up to 4-hour battery life starting at £329, DJI said.
- Available to order now, DJI's Osmo Action 6 is the new flagship, replacing the Osmo Action 5 Pro, with prices starting at 329 / AU$669, including Standard and Adventure Combos.
- DJI equipped the camera with a 1/1.1-inch square-format CMOS sensor featuring 2.4µm pixels and a variable aperture range f/2.0–f/4.0 to boost low-light performance and dynamic range.
- Built for endurance, the Osmo Action 6 packs 50GB built-in storage, a microSD slot, up to 4-hour battery life and fast-charging to 80% in 22 minutes with IP68 rugged build.
- Optional accessories including ND filters, mounts, charging cases and a Macro Lens add-on launch with the camera; the Macro Lens cuts focus distance to 11cm, and an optional dive case raises rated depth to 60m.
- DJI claims this is the first action camera with a variable aperture, and reviewers say the larger sensor and aperture could raise creator expectations.
