New Bedford mayor says number of rats in the city is 'dwindling'

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — The city of New Bedford has been working to address the rat problem that it's facing. There have been reports of rats — both alive and dead — in the neighborhoods surrounding a Shawmut Avenue waste transfer facility, which caught fire last month.
