A man from Shavington has been charged in connection with sex offences. Trevor Sewell was arrested at around 8.40pm on Friday (May 30) at an address in Shavington. Sewell, aged 57, has since been charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child. Lurgan man charged with attempting to make ‘sexual communication’ with child

A Lurgan man accused of attempting to make a ‘sexual communication’ with a child has had the case adjourned to June 22. Paul McConville, of Avondale Green, is alleged to have committed an offence on April 22 this year. At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, the 55-year-old was listed as being in custody but it was said he was not being produced to the video link. The court heard the full file in the case is due by June 6.
