The main perpetrator of the robbery and kidnapping of American businesswoman Aomar Aït Khedache, 69, was sentenced last May in Paris to eight years in prison, five of which were suspended.
The appeal period expired on Monday night and none of the eight convicted persons filed an appeal. On Monday, the prosecution announced its intention not to appeal, including the two acquittals handed down on 23 May by the Assize Court.
The sentences of the "papy robbers" of the American superstar are final. Neither the convicts nor the general prosecutor's office appealed.
The Paris assize court had sentenced American star Kim Kardashian's "papy robbers" to up to eight years in prison, including three for the brains of the operation.
