On Thursday 28 August, Nordahl Lelandis was tried for domestic violence committed in the presence of his 19-month-old son during a visit to the central house of Ensisheim, Upper Rhine. He was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment.
In a talk at the beginning of June with his companion and 19-month-old son, the former soldier was said to have grasped the child's mother's neck firmly and then pulled her hair. He is tried on Thursday 28 August for these facts which he contests.
