Israelis have 'a number of questions' about military plans for Iran
"Next to the pride that most Israelis feel in the success of their air force, there are beginning to be a number of questions here about what plans the government has apart from begging the US president to join the fighting," reported FRANCE 24's correspondent in Jerusalem, Noga Tarnopolsky.
Israel announced on Thursday that it had struck Iran's only operational nuclear power plant, Bushehr, but an Israeli military official later retracted that statement. Moscow had warned this week against a strike on Bushehr, as Russian experts also work at the plant, which uses Russian nuclear fuel. According to the new Israeli announcement, only the Natanz, Isfahan and Khondab (formerly called Arak) nuclear facilities were hit.
