LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AUG 6 – The federal 'Trojan Horse' operation led to the arrest of 16 undocumented immigrants despite a court order limiting enforcement in Southern California, officials said.
- On Aug. 6, Department of Homeland Security personnel dressed in green fatigues emerged around 7 a.m. near a Home Depot, arresting 16 undocumented immigrants from Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras and Nicaragua.
- Despite a July federal court order from July, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals declined last week to reverse it, and the government plans to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
