- Amid discussions earlier this year in Zimbabwe during the ICC chief executives committee, the ICC ignored strong requests from the Board of Control for Cricket in India, PTI report.
- Two new associate members, Timor-Leste Cricket Federation and Zambia Cricket Union, have joined the ICC, taking membership to 110.
- Leaving India’s bid unmet, the ICC confirmed England will host the WTC finals until 2031, cementing the ECB’s monopoly over the event.
