The Hungarian Parliament has passed a new law empowering authorities to suspend the citizenship of foreign individuals. The new regulation could affect hundreds of thousands of people, although its application is subject to strict conditions. This is reported by Telex.The Hungarian Parliament has adopted a draft law that allows the suspension of Hungarian citizenship to persons who threaten public order, security or national security of the country. According to the document, a person can lose Hungarian citizenship if he has the citizenship of a country outside the EEA and his Hungarian citizenship threatens the order, security or national security of Hungary.
