- Traders note Chinese soybean importers recently bought 20 cargoes of Brazilian soya beans as South American prices eased, with December shipment prices at US$2.25 to US$2.30 over the January Chicago contract.
- The White House said China would buy at least 12 million metric tonnes in late 2025 and 25 million tonnes annually, while state trader Cofco made early purchases and American farmers lost billions.
- China will remove or suspend for a year some non-tariff retaliatory measures, including export control measures, the Commerce Ministry said, and investors were relieved after Mr Trump met Xi Jinping.
