Chicago Dog Deep Dish Pizza Launches In Iconic Collab

On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Lou Malnati's launched a small Chicago Dog Deep Dish Pizza at 21 dine-in locations, available only for a limited time.
Building on last year's meal kit experiment, Lou Malnati's and Portillo's led to a Chicago-style mashup, as they previously combined Chicago classics in Italian beef pizza kits.
Featuring mustard, relish, white onions, diced fresh tomatoes, pickles, sport peppers, celery salt and mozzarella cheese adorn the deep-dish crust brushed with poppy seeds, and it’s available for dine-in, carryout or delivery.
Some customers said `No thanks`, Kevin Wencel added, `I'm like, get your dog off my pizza, man!`, and Marcella Mills called it `very appetizing`.
Available while supplies last, and Portillo's Perks members can get $1 hot dogs with a $5 purchase through July 20 at full-service restaurants in Chicagoland, Milwaukee, and Arizona.
