Born in 1877 in Oberdorf-Spachbach, near Woerth, Jacques Eib travelled the Patagonia and then the Dutch island of Borneo between 1910 and 1925 as a master prober in search of oil and water. An exceptional epic on the borders of the 20th century that his 83-year-old son, Frédéric, has preciously remembered.
