Greenpeace stages protest from Helsinki Central Station clock tower
Greenpeace activists climbed the clock tower of Helsinki Central Railway Station on Wednesday morning and unfurled a nine-metre-long banner reading “Time to resist” in English. The protest began around 8:00am. Activists accessed the tower using scaffolding set up for ongoing renovation work. The action was part of Greenpeace’s global campaign denouncing corporate influence, environmental degradation, and alleged political inaction.
