Saugeen Shores flag raising kicks off PRIDE Month in Saugeen Shores

The multi-hued PRIDE flag – the universal symbol of inclusion and acceptance – was temporarily raised on the Town flagpole in Port Elgin at a May 30 ceremony to mark PRIDE Month and acknowledge and celebrate the local SLGBTQIA+ community and allies. The flag was then returned to half-staff to honour the four Walkerton students and a teacher killed in a traffic collision near London May 23.
