Former Ohio County Prosecutor Scott Smith passes away at 67

OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) - Ohio County is mourning the loss of long-time prosecutor and public servant, Scott Smith. He passed away suddenly last Thursday at the age of 67. He was born in Utica, New York, before moving to Wheeling. He went on to attend the Linsly Military Academy, the University of Pittsburgh, ultimately obtaining his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 1983.
