Flight attendant pleads guilty to secretly recording a 14-year-old girl in plane bathroom

A former American Airlines flight attendant, Estes Carter Thompson III, pleaded guilty to charges related to secretly recording a 14-year-old girl in an airplane bathroom and possessing images of child sexual abuse.
Prosecutors stated that Thompson, 37, had additional recordings of four other girls using lavatories and videos generated through artificial intelligence.
Thompson faces a maximum of 30 years in prison for attempted sexual exploitation of children and 20 years for possession of abusive images.
His sentencing is scheduled for June 17, following his guilty plea announced on Thursday.
