A phone call with US President Donald Trump during a meeting of the Joint Expeditionary Force in Oslo gives Europeans hope that the Americans will put pressure on Russia for peace. The leaders gathered in Norway also pledged closer cooperation with Ukraine.

OSLO. The meeting between ten NATO countries in northern Europe, which cooperate on the military rapid response force JEF, led to Ukraine becoming closer to the group. Ukraine will be allowed to participate in some of Jef's exercises, receive more training support and share lessons from the defensive war against Russia.
After meeting with colleagues in Oslo, the fate of Ukraine is the destiny of security for all of Europe.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, who participated in the meeting of the heads of State of the Joint Expeditionary Corps (JEF) in Oslo, said that the outcome of the war in Ukraine depended on the security of all Europe.
