Elon Musk Backs Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain Party
Musk backed Rupert Lowe’s party after it pledged to dismantle the establishment, and the move deepened his feud with Nigel Farage.
On Sunday, Elon Musk endorsed Restore Britain on X, reposting messages from party leader Rupert Lowe and signaling his latest intervention in British politics.
Rupert Lowe founded Restore Britain last year after his suspension from Reform; the party's local affiliate Great Yarmouth First won all 10 seats it contested earlier this month.
Reform leader Nigel Farage criticized Musk for attempting to "split the right" in the Makerfield by-election, warning that support could benefit Labour candidate Andy Burnham.
The Survation study of 504 respondents in Makerfield places Andy Burnham at 43% and Robert Kenyon at 40%, with Restore Britain's Rebecca Shepherd at 7%.
Party leader Rupert Lowe vowed to "tear apart and rebuild" the state, targeting bureaucrats and Westminster, aligning with Musk's history of backing populist factions like Spain's Vox and Germany's AfD.
