Pope Leon of XIV stated on Friday that the elderly are “a gift” and launched an appeal according to which none of them should be abandoned or felt useless. The statement was made in his speech, addressed to participants at an international convention dedicated to the elderly, shall be transmitted to the EEF Agency.
