Dickson Street Bookshop owner and co-founder Don Choffel has died

Don Choffel, the owner and co-founder of the beloved, labyrinthine Dickson Street Bookshop in Fayetteville, has died at the age of 90. He was born in 1933. The news comes via Facebook: Choffel founded Dickson Street Bookshop in 1978 with Charles O’Donnell, who died in 2019.
