Summary by Ground News
As of 8:30 a.m. Saturday, the fire burned an estimated 1,215 acres, with 25% of the fire contained. Strong, sustained winds challenged air support efforts, but crews managed one air drop of 3,000 gallons of water. The fire grew to 1,205 acres Friday afternoon, according to the U.S. Forest Service. Teller County has moved into a stage 2 burn ban, posting the resolution on its Twitter account.
