CCTV Images Released After ‘Alcohol and Meat Repeatedly Stolen From Tesco’

In the early hours of October 21, 2023, 33-year-old Kayne Palmer drove a stolen van into a convenience store located in Nottingham’s Capenwray Gardens to carry out a ram-raid.
Palmer initiated the ram-raid by earlier burgling a nearby house to steal the work van keys, a handbag, and a bank card.
During the raid, Palmer caused thousands of pounds damage, stole nearly £8,000 worth of cigarettes and alcohol, plus over £3,200 in cash, and fled before police arrived.
On November 7, 2023, Palmer carried out a series of criminal acts within a single day, including five burglaries and an attempted break-in, before pleading guilty to multiple charges such as burglary, dangerous driving, assault, and driving while disqualified.
On June 6, 2025, Nottingham Crown Court sentenced Palmer to seven years imprisonment and banned him from driving for five-and-a-half years, with police calling him "a clear danger to society.
