Time Out has named Cardigan as one of the top three places to visit in the UK in 2023. The publication describes the Welsh town as the 'most underrated' spot in west Wales. Helena Police Department is using a drone to diagram car accident sites. The drone also has a thermal imaging camera that can be used to assist the Helena Fire Department. Jersey police launch Christmas anti-drink drive campaign
Extra patrols and roadside checks will take place throughout December. The States of Jersey Police has launched its Christmas campaign. 55 drivers had been prosecuted for the offence in 2022, with more than 30 cases "still under investigation" Insp Callum O'Connor said drink driving was "just not worth the risk"See the Story

Met Office has issued a yellow extreme weather warning over torrential rain. Outbreaks of heavy showers are expected from 7pm tonight, November 16. Donations and messages have been left at the site next to the Scott Monument. Legion Scotland will host a service of Remembrance in Princes Street Gardens.
