BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — Boone County is in the process of renovating its more than 100 year old Courthouse. Construction started on Monday, June 2nd, moving the public entrance from Main Street to the east side of the building. Some of the courtroom assignments will be moved due to the work, with Judge Tobin's cases heard in courtroom 1 and Judge Balough's cases moved to courtroom 3.
