Arrest made in deadline State Road trailer fire

A 34-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a deadly trailer fire Saturday afternoon in the 6000 block of State Road, according to the Kern County Fire Department.

Arrest made in deadly Oildale fire

A 52-year-old woman was found dead after a mobile home fire in Oildale on Saturday afternoon. Later Saturday, a 34-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the fire. Rhonda Brown, the property manager, said the majority of people who live at the mobile home park do not belong there.
