- Ellis demanded Bovino produce all use-of-force reports since Sept. 2, required body cameras after tear gas concerns, ordered agent badges, banned certain riot control techniques, and set a Friday deadline for camera acquisition and training.
- Ellis expressed confidence oversight will curb problematic tactics, saying nightly check-ins will prevent excessive force, while Bovino also faces a deposition with lawyers from both sides.
