Some 60 employees of the Central Water Authority (CWA) were asked to fold baggage. By 2023, they had been hired under a fixed-term contract (CDD) to replace the CWA pipes. They were informed by CWA management yesterday, June 2, that their services were no longer required. Recall that 1,700 employees were dismissed by the Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), 13 by the Central Electricity Board (CEB) and 7 by the Tourism Authority.
