The president of the Asociación de Profesores de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (APUCV), José Gregorio Afonso, pointed out that the aguinaldo of the professors has lost more than 90% of their value since 2022 due to the devaluation of the currency. He indicated in an interview given to Unión Radio that, although the nominal amount remains, its purchasing power has been reduced significantly by the behavior of the exchange rate.
