Terrorist Attack · Gilgit-BaltistanTwo personnel of the Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) Scouts were martyred and another injured when terrorists ambushed their checkpoint along the Karakoram Highway (KKH) in Diamer district early Friday.
According to police, the attack took place at 12:15 am near Chilas, when unknown gunmen opened fire from an elevated hilltop position at a G-B Scouts checkpoint. Nine personnel were present at the post at the time.
