Xiaomi Teases Sky Nomad N90 Massive SUV, Featuring 180° Rotating Front Seats

- On Wednesday, Xiaomi confirmed that Sky Nomad is a new product series under Xiaomi EV, simultaneously releasing official teasers for the lineup's debut model, the boxy N90 SUV.
- Sky Nomad is central to Xiaomi's 2026 volume target of 550,000 vehicles; in the first half of this year, Xiaomi EV delivered 185,055 units, completing only about 34% of its annual goal.
- The N90 measures 5.3 m long with a 3.1 m wheelbase, featuring a 1.5-litre turbocharged range extender. A battery pack of more than 70 kWh delivers 400 to 500 km of electric-only range, with total range exceeding 1,500 km.
- Pricing is expected to start at $29,400, undercutting rivals like the Li Auto L9. CEO Lei Jun described the lineup as a "living space," with a flexible interior designed to change with the owner's needs.
- Xiaomi built an all-new platform from the ground up starting in early 2023, the Xiaomi Kunlun architecture. The company emphasized that the design relies on "AI technology + a smart ecosystem + intelligent manufacturing capabilities.
