Westbound I-80 reopens after new wildfire breaks out nearby in Salt Lake County

A new wildfire in Salt Lake County had briefly shut down all lanes of Interstate 80 due to its proximity to the highway. Eastbound traffic remains closed.Crews have been able to stop forward progression of the fire and are now in the mop-up stage. I-80 westbound is now open. Eastbound lanes are still closed.
