- The film faced a seven-month delay in India after certification objections forced the production to be referred to the Central Board of Film Certification revising committee before finally receiving an 'A' certificate.
- Marking his first release as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, the film's title card will identify the star as "The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C Joseph Vijay," replacing the traditional "Thalapathy Vijay" credit.
- Directed by H Vinoth, the film features Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles, and is widely believed to be inspired by Anil Ravipudi's Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari.
- KVN Productions has yet to announce an India release date for the much-anticipated film, leaving fans to await the official domestic launch while the United Kingdom premiere proceeds on schedule.
