In Italy, a red alert has been issued in 15 cities due to an extreme heatwave, with temperatures expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius. Forest fires continue in the north, central, and south of the country, while Piedmont is experiencing water shortages. Greenpeace melted ice sculptures in front of the Colosseum to draw attention to global warming.
This Wednesday, in front of the Colosseum, in the Italian capital, to warn about the effects of heat waves and climate change on workers. The initiative was promoted by Greenpeace Itlia and the main Italian union, which defend more ambitious measures to reduce the use of fossil fuels.
